Your gift will bless the people we serve with safe, sustainable water access, hygiene and sanitation education, and Christian witness programs to demonstrate the living water—the gospel of Jesus Christ. Gifts offered here are used at the discretion of Living Water International.
We put together an admittedly cheesy video about why we want you to donate to Living Water in lieu of giving us a wedding gift. We'll be the first to admit we’re not actors and should stick to our day jobs, but the reason we've chosen Living Water is what’s powerful here. When we started exploring the idea of donating our wedding to charity, it just rang so deeply true to our core values that we dove headfirst into it. We canceled our wedding plans and started searching for a charity that spoke to us. It wasn't long before we decided on Living Water. We had come across Living Water before through our church and friends who had volunteered with them, but we really didn’t know just how big a problem water was in the world before we started looking into it more deeply.
That being said, we want you to do three things for us:
1. Learn - Please watch our video and explore Living Water's website for more information on the problem and what Living Water is doing to fix it (https://water.cc/whywater)
2. Donate - If you're moved by the cause, we'd love for you to make a donation. Whether that's $10 or $1,000, the money will go to making a meaningful impact on people’s lives.
3. Pay it Forward - The other thing we've discovered in researching this problem, is how few people are aware of it. To change that, we'd love for you to tell someone else about the problem or forward this on to your friends. We think the more people who realize this is a problem, the better off the world will be.
We're incredibly blessed to have the opportunity to give back to people in desperate need in a big way, and we're thankful that we have you to join us in that journey.

Living Water International exists to demonstrate the love of God by helping communities acquire desperately needed clean water, and to experience "living water"—the gospel of Jesus Christ—which alone satisfies the deepest thirst.
In 1990, we set out to help the church in North America be the hands and feet of Jesus by serving the thirsty. More than a billion people in the world live on less than a dollar a day, and many people living in poverty also lack access to safe drinking water.
Around the world, communities are trapped in debilitating poverty because they constantly suffer from water-related diseases and parasites, and/or because they spend long stretches of their time carrying water over long distances.
Responsible development means funding the whole program for the whole person. Gifts offered here go towards safe, sustainable water access, hygiene and sanitation education, and Christian witness programs in Where most needed.
